tender for design, construction, operation & maintenance of sanitary incinerator of 1-tpd capacity in kattappana municipality in idukki district; 1 construction of buildings for the housing and operation of plant with the following facilities, complete.1. scope: design and construction of semi-permanent shed for a minimum area of 200 m2. the building shall be designed by a structural engineer. the following are the basic minimum specification required. •foundation: rcc footing with required area, pedestal and plinth beams in rcc. the plinth beams shall be provided around the periphery of the building. • structural steel framework: the superstructure shall be constructed with ms tubes for pillars, connection beams, trusses, purlins etc in single or composite form as per design. the ms structure shall be painted with primer and synthetic enamel paint of good quality. the height of the building shall be 6m.• roofing and side covering: the roofing shall be with powder coated gi sheet of minimum thickness 0.50mm. the sides shall be covered with half brick wall, gi sheet and grill as the case may be ensuring safety and ventilation for the building.• flooring: the flooring shall be provided with cc m20 with suitable floor paint.• amenities required: in addition to the basic facilities required for running the plant amenities like office room, toilet, lpg/ fuel storage room, ash storage area, store room etc. shall also be provided. • ventilation and odor control: natural ventilation: ridge ventilators, wall louvers, and exhaust fans along the shed’s perimeter to control odors and improve airflow.• mechanical ventilation: exhaust fans with air changes per hour (ach) calculated based on waste type to reduce odors and maintain air quality.• lighting: natural lighting: translucent polycarbonate roof sheets or side wall panels to maximize natural light, typically covering 10-15% of the roof area.• artificial lighting: led high-bay lights with ip65 rating for dust and moisture resistance, strategically placed to provide uniform lighting (300 lux) for safe working conditions.• utilities and services: power supply: industrial-grade electrical setup with weatherproof and corrosion-resistant conduits, protected distribution panels, and backup generator provision.• water supply: dedicated water lines for cleaning and dust control, along with an overhead tank for storage.• fire safety: fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and sprinkler systems as per fire safety codes. flame-retardant materials where possible. 2 supply, installation and commissioning of 1tpdsanitary incinerator plant including all components as per the specified in the bid document; all complete.
