tender for de-shelling and reshelling of mill roller - rate contract for de-shelling & re-shelling with grove cutting ( as per drawing ) of 5000 tcd mill, cast iron conventional rollers ( feed, discharge, under feeder & grpf ) all roller shell size- 1080mm x 2040mmthe composition of material shall confirm to is:1985 and shall be:1. total carbon- 3.20 to 3.6 percent2. manganese – 2.2 to 3.2 percent3. silicon- 1.2- 2.2 percent4. phosphorus- 0.5 percent maximum.5. sulphur- 0.15 percent maximum.• all roller shell shall be of coarse grain cast iron having hardness 180 to 210 bhn.• the cast iron shell shall be hot shrunk on forged steel shaft.• the cast iron shell to be bored to finished size and shaft seating diameters to be made before shell bore diameters to suit interference fit.• all rollers shell shall be provided with circumferential “v” grooving. chevron grooves shall be provided on top & feed rollers and masschaert grooves on the feed rollers only.make-jassal engineering / jassal mechanical works.as per requirement etc
