bkr / lpg / pt / 21-22 / 02 assistance in operation and maintenance of safety and firefighting equipment at indane bottling plant, bokaro.-• operation, daily preventive maintenance & housekeeping of five nos. fire engines. • operation, daily preventive maintenance & housekeeping of two nos. jockey pumps, two nos. security air compressors, three nos. instrument air compressors, two no. air drier, two nos. circulating water pump, deep tube well and allied jobs. • cleaning of dv strainer and fire pump strainer on quarterly basis after dismantling of strainer blind, flushing of strainer and refitting the blind to close the system. • cleaning of sprinkler nozzles on half yearly basis, job includes opening of all sprinkler nozzles, cleaning its holes, flushing the sprinkler lines & refitting the nozzle. • hydro testing of lpg hoses on four monthly basis, job includes dismantling of lpg hoses from machine, testing one by one with manual hydraulic machine at 25.5 kg / sq. cm. pressure, replacing the rejected hose from store, putting tag on hoses, preparation and submission of report. • hydro testing of hydrant hoses on half yearly basis, job includes taking out hydrant hose from hose box, testing one by one with manual hydraulic machine at 10.5 kg / sq. cm. pressure, replacing the rejected hose from store, putting all the hose back into hose boxes, preparation and submission of report. • maintenance & greasing of all gate valves and butterfly valves of hydrant system on monthly basis. • checking operation of all hydrants and monitors valves on monthly basis or as and when required to ensure that no valve is passing or un-operable, arresting all water leakage, replacement of gland packing, replacing defective valve from store. the job also includes arresting of leakage of hydrant system as and when required. • section wise flushing of hydrant line on weekly basis as per schedule by opening / closing of isolation valves of individual loops as per requirement and guidance of maintenance in charge. • checking weight of co2 cartridge, nozzle cap, safety clip, screw cap hole, gasket cover, powder, hose, nozzle of dcp type fire extinguisher and co2 type fire extinguisher. job includes taking out fire extinguisher from designated place to testing place, testing of fire extinguisher, replacing damaged parts and putting all fire extinguisher back to designated place. job includes refilling of used fire extinguisher. contractor at their own cost
