installation of portable diver detection sonar ( pdds ) onboard one large vessel at nsry ( kar ) , modification of port catwalk involves the following: ( i ) manufacturing and fitment of required foundation / mounting frame for installation of davit , junction box and underwater unit ( ii ) fabrication of brackets and fitment of pdds devices at designated locations ( iii ) fitment of cable tray with metallic conduits and securing clamps ( iv ) manufacturing and fitment of protective covers for power supply jb and adapter unit , modification of starboard catwalk involves the following: ( i ) manufacturing and fitment of required foundation / mounting frame for installation of davit , junction box and underwater unit ( ii ) fabrication of brackets and fitment of pdds devices at designated locations ( iii ) fitment of cable tray with metallic conduits and securing clamps ( iv ) manufacturing and fitment of protective covers for power supply jb and adapter unit , ( a ) following work to be undertaken in mor ( i ) fitment of cable tray with brackets and securing clamps ( ii ) manufacturing and fitment of required brackets/ mounting frame for installation of processing and display unit of pdds ( b ) cabling and connectorisation ( i ) 820 meters of cable laying for pdds system ( ii ) connectorisation of cables and grounding of all devices of pdds ( iii ) piercing of 23 in number existing glands and packing up of the glands post cable laying
