o and m distribution system under ridge subdivision that includes distribution and maintenance of water supply and maintenance of water supply network under ridge sub-division water distribution , sjpnl , shimla . , operation and maintance of water distribution system under ridge sub division for the area mentioned below- chakkar water storage tank , kamna devi water storage tank , totu water storage tank , bharari water storage tank , some area of ridge storage tank i . e . vidhan sabha to cm residence around mall road lower bazar ward and ram bazar ward . the work includes distribution of water to all the connection under the said area i/c operation of keys , damange/leakage/overflow and the maintance of whole pipe line , network and all other necessary fitting such as sluice valvefitting , consumers meter fitting , bulk meter fitting and all other necessary fitting i/c installation in the network . job also includes repair of leakags , major/minor along with the fitting and welding work etc . firm shall depute person for monitor water availability in the store and shall distribute the same in accodance with the direction/decision taken by engineer in charge . during the distribution worker shall supervise leakage and overflow according they shall convey it to controll room/er in charge . in case of any leakage/ damage repair shall be carried out with utmost effort even in odd hours and unfaviourable weather in case of emergency for firm shall obtaion necessary approved from concern authority/owner in case of private/govt/semi govt /road/property . for such repair all the material shall be arranged/purchaged by firm whodse payment shall be maid by sjpnl in accordance with the analysed market rates for which firm shall try to use propirietry items . firm shall also depute a contract person for this jobwho will communicate all the matters to sjpnl . for communication firm shall use web bases application . in case of uncnecessary wastage of water firm shall be liable for recovery of its cost . this job includes operation , & implementation of web based water distribut ion monitoring system ( wdms ) by deploying data entry operators for above work round the clock i . e . 24 x 7 which includes supervision of operators and providing it setup complete in all respect . & cleaning of under ground sump , ugrs , over head r . c . c . tanks etc . in shimla city bi-annually/ twice a year including disposal of silt , rubbish etc . , all as per direction of engineer-in-charge . the cleaning shall consist of following operations:- ( i ) tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits . ( ii ) entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed throughly with wire brush etc . and pressure washed with water . ( iii ) chlorination of rcc internal surface by liquid chlorine . ( iv ) the treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all loose particles shall be removed from the surface . ( v ) finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc . ( including the cost of dg/power connection etc ) . and disposing of malba , debris , rubish etc . and marking/ writing the date of cleaning on the side of the tank body with the help of stencil and paint , all complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge . twice in a year , operation and maintenance of 4 nos . water tankers of following capacity including drivers and cleaner/helper , all repairs and spares ( except cost of diesel ) for a period of year . , 1 . 4000 ltr . capacity , 2 . 4000 ltr . capacity , 3 . 8000 ltr . capacity , 4 . 8000 ltr . capacity , the service of drivers should be made available between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on demand by the additional general manager/ manager , water distribution division .
