providing and installing of miscellaneous children play equipments in the premises of community center type-ii at iit kanpur -1 providing & installing giraffe slide made of frp ( model no. nc- 03 ) of size, length = 11’6”, width= 6’2”, height= 9’4”, including all incidental charges and necessary civil works etc complete, all as per enclosed drawing ( fig 1 ) & direction of engineer-in-charge. 2 providing & installing triple wave slide made up of frp in multi colour ( model no. nc-19 ) of size , length = 14, width = 10 & height = 7. the triple wave slide consists of three children at a time enjoy sliding either in individual or in piece slide. the platform of the slide is made up of the frp. platform support pipes are made up of 80 mm dia nb, powder coated ms pipes. the railing is made in ms pipes. the slide entry is made up of 20 dia nb, powder coated ms pipes. the slide entry is mounted on 80 mm dia nb m.s. pipe. the ladder frame is made with 20 dia nb and 25 dia nb, powder coated ms pipes. the triangular steps / frp are made with 16 swg gi sheets, including all incidental charges and necessary civil works etc complete, all as per enclosed drawing ( fig. 2 ) & direction of engineer-in-charge. 3 providing & installing merri go round ( ms / frp ) of 5 feet dia. ( model no. nc-156 ) , having 2 nos of seat of capacity 2 children each. the revolving platform of merri go round shall be fabricated from ms sheet with powder coating. the dia of the merri go round is minimum 4 feet, made up of 35 x 35 x 5mm angle with 12 gauge crc sheet along with 2 bearings. the chair seat is made with 20 mm dia nb m.s. pipe, 25 x 25 x 5mm m.s. angle inclined bracing & 16 gauge aluminium chequred sheet and also the bearing shaft of merri go round shall be moved smoothly, including all incidental charges and necessary civil works etc comlete, all as per enclosed drawing ( fig. 3 ) & direction of engineer-in-charge. n 4 providing & installing of spiral slide ( height- 5 feet ) , platform made of frp spiral slide & step ladder iron structures ( model no. nc-04 ) . nthe spiral slide chute is made up of fiber reinforced plastic having shell thickness of 4mm.the back side of the slide is surface mater with phantom effect, slide is centrally supported on 80 mm nb ms pipe. landing module is supported on 20 mm nb m.s. pipe. slide ladder is made up of 25 mm nb m.s. pipe , the ladder railings made up of 20 mm nb ms pipe with triangular steps .spiral slide railing is made up of 15 mm nb and 20 mm nb m.s. pipes. it is designed in such a way that a ladder itself has safety railing for the platform. the trade and riser of the ladder is designed in such a way that there wont be entrapment of childs foot while playing .all the sharp edges and corners shall be properly grinded to smooth finish, so that children are not injured while playing on it. the pure polyester powder coating is to be done on the pipes to extend the life of equipment’s. also the foundation is done as per isi standard., including all incidental charges and necessary civil works etc complete, all as per enclosed drawing ( fig. 4 ) & direction of engineer-in-charge. 5 providing & installing of 4 seater see-saw ( model no. nc-14 ) , nthe 4 seater see saw is fabricated on 50 mm nb ms pipe base with t- handles on either side. the size of 4 seater see-saw is l-10’, b-2’ and made with fiber and steel, including all incidental charges and necessary civil works etc complete, all as per enclosed drawing ( fig. 5 ) & direction of engineer-in-charge. n 6 providing & installing of two seater swing ( model no. nc-159 ) of size, length = 6 & height = 8 ntwo seater arc swing 2.440 meter high above ground level consisting of top bar of swing made by 80 mm nb ms pipes and 2nos.chain should be minimum 6mm thick electro galvanized tested for safe and comfortable swing. antiskid chequered reinforced frp belt of heavy duty only is to be provided & fixed. all m.s. parts to be treated with pure polyester powder coating ( oven baked ) with minimum thickness of 40 microns to extend the life of equipment .the finish shall be electro statically applied finished and properly fixed in cement concrete block of size 30 x 30 x 45 cm of concrete mix 1:1.5:3 , including all necessary incidental charges, as per enclosed drawing ( fig 6 ) & as directed by engineer-in-charge. n 7 providing & installing of revolving merri go round frp ( model no. nc-152 ) nthe revolving merri go round shall be fabricated from steel with powder coated. the capacity of mgr is 8 to 10 children for standing at a time. the dia of the merri go round is minimum 6 feet made up of frp and the base pipe used for structure is 35 x 35 x 5mm angle along with bearings. standing base seat should be made up of frp over 20 mm nb ms pipe base and also bearing shaft shall be moved smoothly, including all incidental charges and necessary civil works etc comlete, all as per enclosed drawing ( fig. 7 ) & direction of engineer-in-charge. 8 providing & installing a to b net climber ( model no. nc-138 ) of size ( 5m x 1 m ) ntechnical specifications : nmaterials: na ) m.s.pipes: nthe m.s. pipes shall be of isi marked “b” class ( jindal hissar / tata / apollo ) . nb ) m.s. angle: nthe m.s. angles shall be of isi marked. nc ) nut , bolts and other fastners: nall nuts, bolts and other fasteners to be used shall be of hot dip galvanized iron. nd ) fiber reinforced plastic material: nfrp material shall be made of top quality, polyester resin of reputed brand, virmsn quality standard glass made of reputed brand only. the moulding of frp shall be done by contact moulding and has minimum tensile strength of 60 mpa. 9 1. fabrication : niron component shall be welded by electric arc welding using co2 as inert gas using best quality welding rods confirming to is: 814. the welded joints shall be properly grounded and coated with epoxy sealant. all sharp edges and corners shall be properly grounded before painting. all holes shall be drilled by using specially designed hardened drilling fixtures to ensure repeatability & inter chargeability of the components. n2. moulding: nplastic molded components shall be made of non- toxic materials with uv stabilizers. n3. painting: nall uncoated & non protected surfaces shall first be applied with a coat of red oxide after preparation of surface & then coated with epoxy primer by spray process in a dust free atmosphere. then a coat of epoxy paint of reputed brand with minimum thickness of 30 microns shall be applied. 10 4. powder coating: npowder coating shall be done of pure polyester exterior grade ultraviolent stabilized powder of reputed make which shall be applied after preparation of surface and then treated for adhesion by phosphate chemicals which will be further passivity to stop porosity. the minimum thickness of powder coating shall be 40 microns ( dry thickness ) . the coated item shall then be cured in oven at 180- degree celsius for minimum twenty minutes. nall materials shall be first grade quality of isi mark & iso grade & all nuts bolts and other fastners must galvanized and all the items shall be painted pu coating / powder coating. 11 including all incidental charges and necessary civil works etc complete, all as per enclosed drawing ( fig. 8 ) & direction of engineer-in-charge. 12 providing & installing of arc ladder ( model no. nc -128 ) , including all incidental charges and necessary civil works etc complete, all as per enclosed drawing ( fig. 9 ) & direction of engineer-in-charge. nspecification:- 2mx1.5m nmain frame:- fiber and steel. 13 providing & installing of four seater swing ( model no. nc-09 ) of size, length = 15 & height = 8 nfour seater arc / u shape swing, 2.440 meter high above ground level consisting of top bar of swing made by 65 mm nb ms pipes and top pipe is made up of 50 mm nb gi pipe. the frame is powder coated to give an esthetic look. the two swings are made up of 10 mm thick anti-skid chequered reinforced rubber top. the belt seat is suspended on 6 mm thick rubber coated gi chain. the ball bearings are mounted inside a specially designed nylon clamp and 4nos.chain should be minimum 6mm thick electro galvanized tested for safe and comfortable swing. antiskid chequered reinforced frp belt shall be heavy duty only. all parts to be treated with pure polyester powder coating ( oven baked ) with minimum thickness of 40 microns done on the pipe to extend the life of equipment .the finish shall be electro statically applied finished and proper fixed in cement concrete block of size 30 x 30 x 45 cm of concrete mix 1:1.5:3, including all
