bids are invited for customized amc/cmc for pre-owned products - cmc for biomedical equipment; --; annual cmc of laboratory equipment of state drug testing laboratory a) breakdown maintenance: 1. attend to any breakdown within 48 hours of complaint registration. 2. ensure the equipment is fully functional within 7 days of logging the complaint. 3. maintain a 24x7 complaint registration facility with proper call-logging mechanisms. b) preventive maintenance and calibration: 1. prepare and execute a monthly preventive maintenance and calibration schedule. 2. submit a consolidated report every month detailing: 1. breakdown incidents, 2. preventive and calibration activities, 3. uptime maintained for each equipment, 4. total downtime days, 5. time taken to resolve each complaint. 3. reports must be signed, sealed, and submitted to the organization for recordkeeping. c) spare parts management: 1. maintain adequate stock of spares and accessories required for all listed equipment to avoid delays in repair. 2. use oem or approved equivalent parts only. 3. no additional financial burden should fall on the department for standard spares and maintenance parts. e) software support: for computer-integrated or automated instruments, the service provider must provide: 1. firmware updates, 2. software diagnostics, and 3. installation and troubleshooting support as necessary. 4. compatibility with operating systems and lab management software must be ensured. f) documentation: the service provider shall maintain a service logbook for each piece of equipment. reports should include: 1. nature of service (preventive/corrective), 2. spare parts used, 3. calibration records, 4. technician details, and 5. equipment uptime statistics. 6. quarterly summary reports must be submitted to the head of the lab/department for review and compliance checks. g) trained manpower: the service provider shall ensure the availability of technically qualified personnel. 1. support may be provided on-call for minor issues or on-site deployment for critical/high-value equipment. 2.technicians should have experience with the specific equipment brands/models under camc.
