bids are invited for repair, maintenance, and installation of plant/ systems/equipments (version 2) - industry unit; beml; buyer; scope of work-: (1) drain hydraulic oil and nitrogen gas safety. (2) dismantle the cylinder using proper fixtures and tools. (3) clean all parts for detailed inspection. (4) inspect for : piston rod scoring ,piting, bending cylinder barrel wear,ovality,seal damage or hardening eye bush wear end cover and piston wear, thread damage. (5) grinding and hard chrome plating of piston rod to oem standard thickness. (6) final grinding and polishing to required surface finish. (7) clean all components thoroughly. (8) assemble piston rod assembly using new seals. (9) apply recommended torque for all fasteners. (10) fill the required grade of oil (to be provided by departmentally). (11) nitrogen charring to specified pressure using certified nitrogen charging it.(to be change by departmental manpower). (12) pressure testing for leakage,smooth movement and damping characteristic. (13) load testing. material required -: (1) dechroming charges = 4nos. (2) processing mandrel (to hold piston rod) = 4nos. (3) grinding (twice) (4) pre-hard chrome machine = 64hours. (5) post-hard chrome machine = 64hours. (6) hardchrome plating = 1384.64sq.inch. labour charges -: (01) skilled man = 24 shift. (1 person) (02) semiskilled labour = 08 shift. (1 person)
