(iii) bulk density (iv) natural moisture content (v) dry density (vi) water table (vii) specific gravity (viii) atterberg limit (x) hydrometer analysis (x) liquid & plastic limit (xi) swelling index. collecting of lab test data calculation of gross and net safe bearing capacity and preparation of report on minimum 80gsm a4 size white paper duly spiral bound in quintuplet duly vetted by iit/nit (vetting shall not be in the personal capacity of the professor) for foundation (report shall recommend type of foundation and sizes) at different depths below ngl., including size, gross and net safe bearing capacity. following shall also be ensured.- (a) photographic record of geo exploration as well as testing shall also part of the report (b) recommendation as regards possibility of liquefaction of soil in case of saturated or partially saturated loose/ uncompacted sandy soil. (c) swelling index and swelling pressure in respect of black cotton soil and its depth layer (if any).
