tender for installation of recd device in existing dg at zone-iii to zone-viii at tbrl range ramgarh; 1 supply, installation, testing and commissioning of retrofit emission control devicefor 50.0 kvadiesel generator of any make/vintage, heat resistant, corrosion resistance material with engineered clamp mechanism for quick service with bypass arrangement alongwithpcd control panel (telematics) to monitor back pressure and temperature, indicates health alarms, emergency shut down, remote monitoring,facilitates after sale-service and identify any issues incl cutting and welding existing exhaust pipe, removing existing silencer a supply and fixingflange,welding, nut, bolts, washers etc, as per existing exhaust pipecomplete all as specified and directed. application :- reduce particulate matter (pm) , carbon monoxide (co) and hydrocarbons (hc) emissions from diesel generators. improve air quality. compliance with caqm (direction no. 76) and cpcb regulations.device must be compliance with caqm (direction no. 76) and cpcb regulations.testing:-(a) .adhering to this, recd to be tested’ for an equivalent kva family as per the system and procedure from any one of the five central pollution control board, govt, of india, recognized/approved test agencies/laboratories as given below: 2 (a)automotive research association of india (arai, pune)(b) international centre for automotive testing (icat, manesar(c)indian institute of petroleum (iip, dehradun)(d) vehicle research development establishment (vrde, ahmednagar)(e) indian oil corporation, research and development centre, faridabad (haryana)(b). the contractor shall demonstrate compliance of the recd type or recd family with the provision of the regulation.note: type approval certificate shall be produced before installation of the recd for equivalent kva family. 3 back pressure due to the emission control retrofit device :- recd shall be have no effect on exhaust back pressure. the back pressure shall be maintained within prescribed limit by the manufacturer. there should not be any back flow from recd to engine exhaust system. approval of recd for family of dg sets should be as per cpcb instructions and the same has to be obtained from the cpcb prescribed labs as above. the recd manufacturer shall furnish written instructions and requirements about use and maintenance of recd system, its correct operation and maintenance and its emission performance. 4 scope of installation: - (a) installation of emission control retrofit device when offered by the vendor is inclusive in the scope of supply and shall be done by the contractor. the installation work of emission control retrofit device. (b) cutting, welding, removing existing exhaust system, nut, bolts, washers, flanges, are incl in quoted rates.(c) ms items for support and fixing are incl in quoted rates.(d) construction of suitable earthing station and necessary connections shall be done by the contractor.warranty/service;- 12 monthsnumber of preventive maintenance visits in a year during warranty period :- 2 visits 5 all as per serial item no 1 above but for dg set of capacity 180 kva -ditto-. 6 all as per serial item no 1 above but for dg set of capacity 200 kva -ditto-. 7 all as per serial item no 1 but for dg set of capacity 320 kva -ditto-.
