bids are invited for repair, maintenance, and installation of plant/ systems/equipments (version 2) - all bsnl telephone exchanges and mobile bts site locations in 17 operational areas in bsnl tamil nadu circle; power plant modules of capacities 25a, 50a, 100a and contro repairing of smps power plant modules & control panels of all make and capacities (except delta, lineage, exicom makes with year of manufacture later than 2017) in various operational areas (oa’s) in bsnl tamil nadu circle a) repair and attend the faults in the existing -48 to -54 v dc smps power plant modules of capacities 25a,50a&100a of all makes excluding powerplant of manufacture year later than 2017 in case of delta, lineage & exicom makes, working in various exchanges and bts tower locations of 17 oas in tamil nadu circle and bringing them back to working condition catering the existing load at site. b) bidder should have sufficient number of teams for carrying out repair of pp modules & control panels in each oa simultaneously. c) it should be ensured by the contractor that after attending the repair, the exact load capacity of the module is to be served. d) the repairing work should be taken up at the site (located in each oa/ba) within 3 working days from the call issued by any bsnl authorized officers. e) all modules should be checked and repaired as and when required. f) if repair of faulty pp modules is not completed within 7 days, spare working modules should be arranged to the oas/ unit officer. g) the spares used should be new and of good quality. whenever spares are replaced, the old spares re-covered should be handed over to the unit officer. h) high/low voltage control, overload protection should be checked and repaired whenever necessary. i) checking of earthing points, ac input point / dc out point for any loose connections, any other abnormalities and rectifying the same. j) checking of output voltage corresponding to incoming voltage changes & attending to it, if required. k) checking of effective load sharing of modules and attending to the problems, if required. l) specific instructions for repairing of smps modules if any, given by the unit officers should be carried out. m) service personnel should be deputed to the spot to attend the faults and they should be well equipped with all the meters, tools, accessories, instruments and protective devices & necessary facilities for re-pairing the modules. n) after repairing, the modules should be made over to the officers nominated for this purpose. the modules will be accepted after checking. from the date of offering of the modules for repair, the servicing / repairing should be completed within 7 working days time, failing which penalty will be levied as per tender t&c. o) a guarantee of six months should be given for the serviced modules. a certificate with date to that effect should be pasted in the modules. if the modules become faulty within the guarantee period it should be repaired free of cost. p) the repaired modules should satisfy load-sharing functionality when put into use along with the existing unit. the repairing of modules can be carried out at the site. if the modules are taken to the contractor’s premises no transportation / additional charges will be paid by bsnl, tamil nadu circle. total quantity :
