bids are invited for goods transport service – per mt per km based service - machinery & equipment; open body taurus; 21 ft truck 1. the service shall provide a contract vehicle on as and when required basis, within 07 days from the date of demand, for a duration of one year for to & fro transportation of materials/stores from sri vijaya puram (pin - 744101) to diglipur (pin – 744202), as requested by the assistant engineer (t&d), electricity department, north andaman division, diglipur. 2. the assistant engineer (t&d), electricity department, north andaman division, diglipur, will verify and certify the weight of the materials/stores to be transported. 3. the contractor shall submit invoices only when transportation services are utilized by the assistant engineer (t&d), electricity department, north andaman division, diglipur, within the one-year contract period. 4. the contractor must guarantee the safe delivery of all materials/stores to the destination, taking full responsibility for any transit damages to the materials/stores. any damage to the materials/stores shall be rectified at the cost of the transporter. 5. the contractor shall provide the right vehicle, for accommodating the materials/stores for safe transit. 6. the loading and unloading of materials shall be carried out departmentally at both the pickup and delivery locations. total quantity :
