bids are invited for customized amc/cmc for pre-owned products - high performance computing (hpc); hpe; comprehensive maintenance contract (cmc); monthly; yes comprehensive amc for hpc cluster with pfs storage 1.0 the scope of work mentioned in this document is meant for the annual maintenance contract (amc) of the central high-performance computing (hpc) system with pfs storage of aerodynamics & cfd group of arde, pune which is installed at the bms centre, arde and is intended to be fully operational 24 x 7 throughout the year. in order to achieve or maintain high availability, skilled technical manpower and requisite spares are required for maintenance & up-keeping of this system. 1.1 the term system or computer system in this contract document means all hardware including computing, non-computing, storage components, displays, network switch, system software etc., as listed in the inventory provided in annexure a and also includes all cables, connectors, accessories, interfaces, power cables, power distribution units etc., which are not listed but supplied by the oem of the system affecting the overall operational performance of the system. 1.2 the terms & conditions of this contract are listed in annexure b & the mandatory clause for bidders is listed in annexure c 2.0 maintenance services: comprehensive amc maintenance services includes maintenance of all hardware & software system, for smooth operation of the hpc system, as mentioned in clause 1.1. 2.1 amc services being comprehensive in nature, arde shall not bear repair charges in any kind. the charges incurred for repair/servicing of any kind or replacement of the spares, components, accessories, inter-connecting cables, connectors, power cables etc, have to be borne by the contractor and such spares, components, etc. taken for repair have to be installed back in the system, sub-system, after carrying out the repair/service successfully 2.2 contractor shall provide all required spares, accessories, interconnecting cables, connectors, tools at his own cost to carry-out repairs & arde would not provide any spares in this regard 2.3 during service/repair if it is found that any part of the equipment/module is required to be taken out of arde premises, the same shall be taken out with the permission of director, arde at the risk & cost of the contractor including packing, insurance & transportation etc. 2.4 during the maintenance, the contractor shall ensure the quality of repairs carried out and also that of replaced spares/modules. the same will be jointly inspected by arde representative and the maintenance engineer of the contractor. total quantity :
