construction of a staircase & periodical maintenance of muroli left & right canalfor watering in kharif irrigation 2025 from month of july to november in block nayagram, p.s - nayagram, dist -jhargram under jhargram fmp division during 2025-26-- 1 cutting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by engineer-in-charge. 2 earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / river bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the engineer-in-charge. 3 earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile. 4 extra rate over item nos.3 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30metres. i) one extra lead 5 ii) two extra lead 6 supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm. diameter and upto 7.5 cm. diameter. (dia. to be measured at mid length). 7 driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances.(a) where boats are not necessary. 8 supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm.) 9 supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in goodcondition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete(capacity 50 kg). 10 labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,( tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). nb:- volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/ bag . 11 extra rate for item no above for each additional lead of 60 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metre.1(one) extra leads. 12 dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50 kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts. 13 labour charges for collecting loose scattered laterite and stone boulders from slope, bed or apron and stacking the same above ground level within a lead of 100 metre and all lifts as per direction of theengineer - in-charge. 14 relaying displaced stone or laterite boulder pitching including dressing, preparing bed with necessary earthwork upto 30 cm depth complete with cost of collection of boulder within a lead of 30 metre. 15 caulking joints of laterite / stone boulder or brick pitching with cement mortar 1:4 and flush pointing as per direction of the engineer-in-charge.(a) stone / laterite boulder pitching 16 earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the engineer-in-charge .i. in all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means.a) upto 3 m depthiv) without pumping out water and shoring 17 sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. quality of sand is to be approved by the engineer-in-charge. 18 ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant is codes.a) pakur variety 19 hire and labour charges for shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. the rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction.b) where staging is not required. 20 supplying and laying polythene sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches. 21 excavation in hard rock (blasting prohibited) excavation for roadway in hard rock (blastingprohibited) with rock breakers including breaking rock, loading in tippers and disposal within all lifts andnlead upto 1000 metres, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections as per clause 301 of specifications for road & bridge works of mort&h (5th revision).
