(iii) cost of testing of dg set on site as per iem direction as per ca provision is included in this rate. (iv) cost of foundation of dg set is deemed to be included in this rate and should be done as per drawing provided by manufacturer of dg set as per requirement of site. (v) cost of connection of all existing cable deemed to be included in quoted rate. 2 m&l for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrodesize 600 x 600 x 6.3 mm thick, burried directly in ground, (earth pit not less than 3.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.5 m below ground level connected to galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm as earthin lead strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate no 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion, surrounded from all sides by mixture of charcoal and common salt and electrode by means of steel and gi pipe light grade 40mm dia bore for watering funnel with wire mesh. ci cover with frame, pcc chamber pit with pcc 1:3:6 type c-2 excavation and earth work all as shown in electrical plate no 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified and directed.note:-1. the unit rate includes for protection gi pipe and watering pipeof 40 mm bore including excavation for earth pit in any type of soil/ disintegrate rock.2. contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside of defence land and fill in earth pit to achieve desired result as the soil resistiviy is very high.3.the cost ofgi strip of size 32 x 6 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate of above item.4. all the joints in gi strip and connection with earth plate to be weldedand in addition by proving brass nut bolt and washer.5. cost of welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate. 6. contractor has to disposeoffthe excavated soil in open land up to a distance of600 mtr from earth pit.
