rectification of water leakage problem beneath the concrete anchor block behind the power house presumably around the point of bifurcation of penstock for unit#3 of mungpoo kali-khola hydel power station under mini-micro hydel division, wbsedcl, kurseong on emergency basis => limited- 1 breaking of existing concrete at the anchor block with pneumatic pavement breaker & cutting of reinforcement and identification of defective joint of the penstock. 2 disposal of all dismantled materials at suitable area. 3 cutting of existing ‘y’-shaped joint (defective) of penstock. 4 transport expenses from mkhp site to siliguri workshop and vice versa. 5 fabrication of ‘y’-shaped joint of penstock as per existing design at siliguri workshop. 6 edge preparation of all joints. 7 fitting the fabricated ‘y’-shaped joint at its position with proper alignment and welding by special electrode matching with the penstock pipe material. 8 dye penetration test after root run of welding. 9 usg test of joints after final welding. 10 welding of metal pads on welded joints and pressure testing by closing of miv 11 epoxy painting of exposed surface of penstock pipe. 12 ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant is codes (ii) river bazree 13 reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structuresincluding distribution bars stirrups, binders etc. initial strengthening and removal of loose rust (if necessary) cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing & direction(a) for works in foundation and upto roof of ground floor /upto 4 m sail/tata/rinl
