bids are invited for custom bid for services - as per nit similar category hiring of safety consultant - system study and safety audit at khetri copper mine and kolihan copper mine of m/s hindustan copper limited, khetri objectives: the broad scope of work under the said study is proposed to be as under: 1. study and review of the systems deployed at the mines including mine ventilation and statutory supervision. 2. study and review of all statutory plans and sections maintained at the mines. 3. study and review of method of work of mining, strata control and monitoring and hemms deployed and maintenance thereof. 4. study and review the winding systems deployed at the mines and maintenance thereof. 5. identification of sources of danger in mines viz: inundation, fire, gas, explosion, premature collapse of workings and air blast, explosives and blasting practices and consequent likely emergencies. 6. review & physical inspection of major operational activities like-excavation, loading, hauling (transportation), dumping including ore stocking, dozing, grading, pumping & dewatering, maintenance, dust suppression, conveyance vehicle, ground movement, fall of person, material handling etc. 7. review & physical inspection of firefighting system like hydrant, fire extinguisher, water/foam monitor, automatic fire detection & sprinkling system in both the mines. 8. identify the existing fire & other hazards in some critical areas like workshop, belt conveyor, all transfer points, scrap yard, control room, penal room, transformer yard, crusher house, compressor room etc., diesel cum store area (loading-unloading area, parking area, oxygen-da cylinder storage area etc.) & suggest appropriate control measures. 9. study and review surface workshop, subsidence area above underground workings, fans, explosive magazine, diesel storage and other material stores and other installations. 10. study and review of existing emergency plan of the mines. 11. study of all statutory permissions granted by the dgms. 12. study status of current practices adapted by the work persons and management vis a vis the safety statute viz the mines act, 1952 and rules and regulations and orders made there under. 13. extensive discussions with mine executives/officials. 14. workers’ participation in safety. 15. mock rehearsals. 16. submission of recommendations and report. 17. formal agreement: - the contractor shall execute a formal agreement in this regards on a non judicial stamp paper of rs.100/- to be purchased by the contractor in his name in the state of rajasthan at his own cost from the state of rajasthan within 15 days of receipt of work order. 18. engineer- in charge will be shri_________________ designation ____________ or any other officer nominated in his place shall be engineer-in charge. however, all the section in charges will look after their individual sectional jobs and send the measurement to the engineer incharge for billing.
