bids are invited for custom bid for services -1.1 the special terms and conditions of contract (stc) are complementary to and shall be read in conjunction with general terms and conditions of contract (gtc) of hals works contract, bill of quantity, scope of work and other documents form part of this tender document. 1.2 in case any provisions of the general terms and conditions of contract (gtc) is repugnant or at variance with any provisions of special terms and conditions of contract (stc), and a different intention appears, the provisions of stc shall be deemed to override the provisions of gtc. 1.3 all the works mentioned in boq are to be carried out according to relevant indian standard specifications and general engineering practices to the entire satisfaction of engineer-in charge (eic). also, the workmanship shall satisfy the requirements set by the eic. 1.4 the tenderer should visit the hal factory area to study the scope of work and nature of service to be provided before quoting against the tender. 2. period of contract 2.1 the period of the contract will be 3 months from the date of commencement mentioned in the work order. 2.2 hal reserves the right to terminate the contract by serving one months notice if the services of contractor will not found satisfactory.
