bids are invited for work package-machining-612-631-cnc, work package-mach-612-631-conv-pro, workpackage-machining-612-631-other, scope of work - 612 & 631 shop 1. scope of work for “cnc activities”: i. cnc vertical turning: range of components approx. dia ø300-1500 mm, dimensional tolerance from 05–50 micron, geometrical tolerance such as concentricity 10-50 micron ( internal and external diameters ) , perpendicularity of faces w.r.t. bore from 5-20 micron, other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. ii. nc boring: range of components approx. dia ø 300-1200 mm, height 50- 1000 mm, dimensional tolerance from 20–100 micron, flatness from 50-100 micron, parallelism from 20-100 micron, positional tolerance from 50-100 micron , other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. iii. plasma coating: plasma coating of sheet metal components, assemblies etc using robot. range of components approx. dia ø30-1400 mm, other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. iv. wire cut edm: formation of profiles, id & od on sheet metal ranging up to 400 width x 600mm. v. any other activity requiring programming in 612 & 631 shop. 2. scope of work for “conventional machine and process activities”: i. turning: turning of sheet metal components, forgings, castings, teflon, assemblies, wire winding, induction rolling / spinning, de-burring / chamfering, threading, internal diameter grinding etc. range of components approx. dia ø1.5-1400 mm, dimensional tolerance from 10–100 micron, geometrical tolerance such as concentricity 10-50 micron ( internal and external diameters ) , perpendicularity of faces w.r.t. bore from 5-20 micron, other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. ii. milling: vertical & horizontal milling of sheet metal components, rod, forgings, castings, teflon, assemblies & specimen ( ring / rod ) . range of components approx. 5 - 1200 mm, dimensional tolerance 30 - 200 micron, squareness of faces within 50 -100 micron and symmetricity of slot / cutouts within 30-100 micro, other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. , iii. drilling: range of components approx. dia ø10- ø1300, dimensional tolerance from 10 -100 micron, geometrical tolerance such as interrelation w.r.t face and hole to hole position from 30 - 100 micron, other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. iv. grinding: grinding process will include operations like surface grinding. range of grinding 10-300 mm length, dimensional tolerance from 5 micron to 20 micron, geometrical tolerance such as such concentricity 5-10 micron, perpendicularity of faces w.r.t. bore within 5-20 micron, parallelism of ground faces within 5 - 20 micron & surface finish as per technology. v. flow test in swirlers: flow test of swirlers are carried out in rig at a pressure ranging up to 1.5 kgf / cm2 to maintain the flow rate up to 4 liter per sec. vi. oil flushing in rigs: oil flushing of assemblies in rigs is carried out at approx. 900 c at a pressure ranging upto 5 kgf / cm2 till class of circulated oil ( 9 – 11 ) is achieved. other technical requirements as per technology. vii. hydraulic testing: hydraulic testing of components are carried out in rigs ranging from 1-45 kgf / cm2 . other technical requirements as per technology. viii. edm: electro discharge machining operation includes maintaining of hole size of from diameter 0.5 mm to 20 mm, up to 30 mm oval cutting, profile edm of width 10-70 mm & length of 10-150 mm within its dimensional tolerance of 20 micron, and perpendicularity of 10 micron. other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. ix. sand blasting: blasting of components using silica & alumina grit size 16 to 120 mesh at an approximate pressure range of 0.5- 6 kgf / cm2 . other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. x. special processes: flame coating, map coating, detonation coating, tip brazing, manifold brazing, bbt brazing, isothermal forming, pnuemothermo forming. all other technical requirements as per technology., xi. resistance welding: spot & seam welding of sheet metal components. all other technical requirements are as per technology. xii. press activity: involves cold & hot forming, blanking, piercing, punching, trimming, profile rolling, hydraulic calibration, machine lapping, honeycomb manufacturing etc. of sheet metal using hydraulic, crank & cantilever press ranging from approx.10-750 tons. other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology. xiii. riveting: assembly of sheet metal components using rivets on riveting machines. other geometrical tolerances and surface finish as per technology xiv. heat treatment of coating parts: pre and post heat treatment of components in furnaces up to a temp of approx. 4500 c. all other technical requirements are as per technology. xv. vacuum furnace brazing: brazing of components in vacuum furnaces at vacuum of 10-4 mbar up to an approx. temperature of 850 -13000 c. all other technical conditions as per the technology. xvi. miscellaneous work: operations not described above, is considered as miscellaneous / other work under the scope of work for ”conventional machine and process activities”. these activities, e, g: engraving, tumbling, bench work, assembly, assembly of components in fixture & de-fixturing, manual beading for assembly, de-burring, polishing , lapping, glueing, cable / wire stretching, buffing surfaces of od, id, flat surface, bench work and its assembly related operations, tapping operations, load and torque test, lacquering and de-lacquering, vibro cutting, straight & circular shearing, leak test, , powder filling, post & pre powder / paste & part preparations etc, are to be carried out as per technology. 3. scope of work for “other activities”: operations like marking, washing ( ultrasonic, petrol, acetone, water etc. ) , cleaning and packing as required for manufacturing and roh activities of 612 and 631 shop. total quantity : 187200
