tender for special repair work of dhayaki to kandal road - providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smoothwheel roller 80-100 kn in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per technical specification clause 405. 2 providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smoothwheel roller 80-100 kn in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 3 as per technical specification clause 405. 3 providing & applying tack coat with v.g.-10 bitumen at the rate of0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granularsurface treated with primer cleaned with hydroulic broom as per technical specification clause 503. 4 providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three whel 80-100 kn static foller capacity, finished to required level and grades. 5 cleaning the premix surface and laying seal coat type c with 6.7 mm nominal size grit (passing 9.5 mm sieve & retained on 2.36 mm nomianl sieve) and bitumen including heating the paint and grit upto required temperature and mixing including cartage of material at site, and including maintenance of side patries and watering them during operation of work complete as per specification and also including all labour, material t&p etc. required for proper completion of the work as directed by the engineer-in-charges work . 6 earth work in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil excavation to be in the form of regular pits not exceeding 0.50 m in depth and earth work in embankment to the in 20 cm. layers including ramming and dressing the surface to required levels and slops and also including 1.50 m. lift and 30 m lead. the earth from cutting to be used in making embankment or to be deposited as spoil banks with-in 30m distance as directed by the engineer–in charge. s.i. no.253(a)
