bids are invited for the industrial grade welding receptacles industrial welding receptacle with interlocked switch, socket and plug-top unit, 5 pin ( 3ph+n+e ) , 440v ac, 63amps with enclosure shall have the following specifications: 1. plug top and socket, heavy duty metal clad, 440v ac, 63a, 5 pin ( 3p+n+e ) , and socket with spring loaded auto shut off cover . 2. frp enclosure body with size 500x500x200mm ( approx ) of 4 mm thickness with extended canopy, name plate, with ample space for 3.5c x 70 sqmm power cable glanding / terminations and front door duly hinged and gasketed. provision for cable entry from bottom shall be provided. 3. power supply isolation ( on / off ) : tpn on / off switch – rotary type heavy duty double break, 440v ac, 63a, as per relevant is / iec and a rated surge voltage of 10 kv. 4. 63 amps, 415 volts, 3 phase 5 pin triple pole neutral and earth shrouded socket with spring loaded cap with auto shut off facility. shrouded die cast alu. plug to suit the above socket. 5. four pole rccb, 63a, 30 ma sensitivity 6. interlock facility should be provided as per the following functions a. switch can be turned on only upon insertion of the plug. plug can not be inserted into the socket as the socket is shielded by protective lid in closed position by a spring loaded latch. to insert the plug latch has to be pressed to open the lid b. plug can be removed only upon turning the switch to off position c. front cover can be opened only in the switch off position 7. unit fully prewired by means of 16 sq.mm copper flexible isi marked cable and terminated on suitable 8 way stud type unbreakable polymide 1000v terminal block for loop in and loop out to terminate 3.5c x 70 sqmm cable. 8. 2 nos. cadmium coated earthing studs of size m 8 x 32 mm long with double nut and washer at either side of the enclosure shall be provided. 9. 4 nos. mounting lugs suitable for surface mounting on wall / column / structure with 11mm hole. 10. the welding receptacles should have an index of protection according to en / iec 60529 of ip66 and an impact resistance ( shock ) of ik101. 11. test certificate from manufacturer / govt approved authority to be provided along with supply. 12. guarantee / warantee: 24 months from date of receipt of material at site. 13. drawing to be approved by site before manufacturing by vendor. 14. vendor has to send one sample piece to ntpc kudgi and get it approved before manufacturing of remaining quantities. material shall be accepted based on certificate of conformance / interchangeability certificate, valid calibration certificate, manufacturers tc or lab tc.
