( b ) grade of concrete shall be m-25 ( min ) for normal structure and m-30 for water retaining structure. ( c ) sbc of soil as per soil testing report obtained from e-2 ( design ) section of hq cejz, jalandhar cantt. in case of change of bearing capacity observed at site during execution, the foundation will have to be redesigned by the consultant at no extra cost to the department. ( d ) cover to reinf in rcc shall be as per is:456-2000 for moderate explosure conditions. ( e ) structural design shall be in conformity to relevant latest version of is code such as is-456, is-876, is-1893 ( 2016 ) and is-13920 ( 2016 ) , nbcs etc. ( f ) bldg shall be designed for earthquake load as applicable as per is-1893 ( 2016 ) & 13920 ( 2016 ) for zone-iv. ( g ) any other parameter not mentioned above but it is required to be taken care of while carrying out structural design and detailing as per the indian standards is deemed to be included. notes:- ( a ) the firm should be approved in mes. ( b ) the firm shall provide structural drawings for approval of mes for the bldgs. ( c ) the firm shall submit the conceptual alternatives / line plans for approval of mes. ( d ) the firm shall get the structural drgs vetted from iit / nit / govt engineering college. ( e ) the consultant shall submit the soft and hard copies of following documents to e2 ( design ) sec:- ( i ) submission of complete set of structural drawing on reproducible film. ( ii ) two set of white paper prints duly vetted as per para ( d ) ( iii ) detailed design report with calculations, staad files, including references etc. ( iv ) structural drawing on autocad ( v ) design philisophy & list of codes, bis publication followed.
