bids are invited for job work for painting - details of panting and maint / preservation are as under :- panting / maintenance of normal bailey bridge stores held with 585 engr sub park. necessary job work will be carried out at the site of 106 engr regt ( gangtok ) at the location of ms-13, kupup & rongli where the stores are stacked / kept . m&l for preparation of previously untreated steel surface applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint ( coptic / olive green ) , make -asian / burger over a coat of red oxide metal primer, make -asian / burger complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge / oic of 585 engr sub park. note :- rates are inclusive of preservation / painting / shifting removing / restacking of etsr normal bailey bridge components. the job is incl of taking out all the nbb components from the respective site or removing / store shed of 106 engr regt, lay out them separately on the hard surface and then scraping, cleaning its all rusted and old painted surface with grinder machine or wire brush, emery paper, dusting cloth etc. applying one coat of red oxide metal primer by using painting brush or spray machine. after completion of the work, restacking the same bridging components at the same place from where the stores were taken / removed for carrying out the above job. the list of nbb components which are considering in the job for painting / maintenance as per list attached as appx a in boq note. ( i ) required paints / primer and other painting meterials for the above job will be issued by the department as listed as per appx bin boq. ( ii ) the job is meant for the labour charges only. as no stores will be provided by the departments. total quantity : 1
