bids are invited for installation of linux based boss operating software compatible to military enginerr services at offices of cwe(nw) kochi - scope of work :-1. installation of linux- boss system in the existing internet connected pcs of cwe (nw) kochi, ge (nw) kochi, ge (ns) kochi and ge (p) kochi.2.impart basic training and guidance to the staff on how to use of boss system during installation.3.updation of drivers and installation of softwares for the boss connected computers and peripherals.4. data back up and copying data to system after installation of boss.5. number of pcs -34 (details alongwith location enclosed in specification)notes:- (i) the cost involving in visiting to cwe (nw), kochi / work site in connection with work is deemed to be included in lump sum quoted by the firm till final completion of the above work.(ii) service provider will not have any right on the user data stored in the application and security of the data to outside threats is sole responsibilty of a service provider.(iii) service provider may be required to give clarification / site visit on required basis during execution of project. nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.(iv) provide technical support if any arise during the use of software. total quantity : 1
