bids are invited for 1. attending to complaints raised by various departments / individuals government engineering college modasa on call / e-mail basis. 2. preventive ( once in a quarter ) and corrective maintenance of cwan at government engineering college modasa where the above cwan is installed. 3. the maintenance contract will include necessary repairs, troubleshooting, replacement of damaged parts / equipment and other accessories of the installed cwan to keep it fully operational. 4. government engineering college modasa has a right to discontinue amc any time without any intimation and it will be based on the quality of services provided by the agency. 5. the service provider has to attend / provide the maintenance service within stipulated time period without looking holidays. 6. the provision of availability of service engineers on sunday or other holidays should be made in case of emergency. 7. the service agency shall provide services through qualified experienced and competent engineers. 8. complaints to be attended within 24 hours working time 9. configuration of firewall, switches and internet connection distribution will have to be carried out by the service provider. 10. service provider will be required to coordinate with software vendor and / or liaison with other service provider to achieve end to end connectivity. 11. all the components of cwan and their parts as mentioned in annexure–i will be covered under the maintenance contract and amc must be comprehensive for all components mentioned in annexure–i. 12. if any critical component of the entire configuration is out of service for more than two working days, service provider shall immediately replace the defective unit. the service provider has to bear the entire cost of the replacement needed. 13. the parts / components / sub-assemblies used for repair / replacement by the service provider will be of the same / equivalent or higher make and functional capability as originally available in the existing item. 14. if a component is damaged during repairing by engineer of service provider, the service provider will replace the component by suitable component of same / equivalent or higher make and will bear all the costs for the same. 15. the service provider will ensure the availability of an engineer on campus as soon as a complaint through call or email is raised. the engineer will be responsible for immediate repair and maintenance of any network fault that may exist in campus wide area networking. he has to personally visit the place in the campus and rectify the problem. he will be responsible for the operation, administration and maintenance of the entire cwan. 16. the service provider will be required to co-ordinate with software vendor and / or liaison with other service provider to achieve the end-to-end connectivity. this also includes server os configuration with respect to lan / wan technologies implementation 17. configuration of firewall and its time-to-time maintenance and management will have to be done by service provider.
