bids are invited for spherical bearing - design, manufacturing, testing and supplying to bbj, prayagraj site (near jhusi station) of spherical bearings for 76.20m clear span warren truss open web railway bridge with two rail tracks with special sliding material for superstructure of the bridge as per bearing load data drawing no 2018-19/j-844/bl-01 provided by rvnl and irc 83 part-iv and irs bs 102 rev-1, as per en 1337 : bs5400 and relevant euro codes including all taxes and duty etc. as applicable. indicative bearing load data drawing no 2018-19/j-844/bl-01 provided by rvnl is enclosed with this tender. load data approved by rvnl/ railway will be provided with the order. the rate should also include;(i) proof checking by iits or any reputed institutions/ laboratory approved by rvnl/ railway.(ii) preparation of maintenance manual, replacement procedure etc for the spherical bearing supplied.(iii) insurance of equivalent value of bearing in favour of railway shall be done for service life of the bearing.iv) payment terms against supply of bearing 75% of the accepted rate on delivery of bearing at site with ic; 20% of the accepted rate after installation of bearings in position or twelve months after receipt of bearing at site with ic whichever is earlier and 5% of the accepted rate after alignment and grouting and on receipt of insurance of equivalent value of bearing in favour of railway for service life of the bearing and acceptance by rvnl/ railwayv) delivery schedule –first eight span sets of bearing to be delivered to site within six (6) months from the date of loa/order.next eight span sets of bearing to be delivered to site within eleven (11) months from the date of loa/order.last eight span sets to be delivered to site within fifteen (15) months from the date of loa/order. , supervision - supervision by qualified engineer(s) during installation of spherical bearings at bridge site near jhusi railway station including cost of travelling, lodging, food, local travel & other incidental costs.payment will be made at the accepted rate for actual days of supervision of installation at site after receipt of certification from site in this regard. , maintenance - complete maintenance for two years after commissioning of bridge as per maintenance manual provided under item 1 above total quantity : 1
