site . fabricate chain guard and coupling guards to suit the site condition . proper welding and grinding shall be done . erect the chain guard / coupling guard at site . necessary modification / providing structural support at site during erection shall be done . clean the site and transport the scarp material to scrapyard . , replacement of gearbox / motors in pollution control : the required site arrangements shall be done for the replacement of gearbox / motor at pollution control area . arrangement of necessary tools and tackles for the work shall be done . coupling guard / chain guards shall be removed . the gearbox / motor shall be decoupled . foundation bolts of the existing gearbox / motor shall be loosened / removed and lead / transport the damaged gearbox / motor to mechanical / electrical work shop . collect the new / spare gearbox / motor from mechanical / electrical workshop and shall be transported to site . the gearbox / motor shall be kept in position and insert the foundation bolts , after cleaning the base plate . check and correct the alignment of the gearbox / motor at the drive side and driven side ( for gearbox ) . jackbolts , foundation bolts , base plates etc . shall be adjusted / modified according to site condition . jack bolts / foundation bolts if damaged shall be replaced . full tighten the foundation bolts . couple the gearbox / motor after inspection of alignment by engineer in charge . provide chain guards / coupling guards . site cleaning shall be done . cleaning of damaged gearbox transported to mechanical workshop shall be done .
