bids are invited for custom bid for services - 200135623 repair replacement of nmej of two units of 660 mw st1 ntpc barh - 00010 : repair/replacement of nmej sow 10.10: (bme/j02bd800) expansion joints (non-metallic) repl /repair a. shifting of fabric, bolster, dust trap seal from store to site. b. joint inspection of ntpc engineer and agencys representative for identification of fabric/bolster/ dust trap seal to be replaced. c. cleaning of accumulated ash. special care to be taken that during removal/cutting of bolts, by providing below proper sheets so that it doesnt fall on anyone and does not cause problem to other working areas d. removal of fabric cloth, bolster & dust trap seal from the duct by removing all bolts. e. cleaning of duct flanges. f. repair of duct plates & flanges for cracks or erosion near to the fabric by welding & grinding. if required, replacement of damaged flanges to be done after fabrication by the agency. bolt hole drilling if required for the flanges & strips have to be done. (drill machine & portable impact wrench should be brought by agency). g. handling of materials from site and vice versa shall be the responsibility of agency. h. erection of dust trap seal ,bolster in between the ducts. i. fixing of the fabric, bolster & dust trap seal with duct flange, jointing & bolting. j. material/consumables for joining fabric, bolster & dust trap seal and other equipments required to be arranged by contractor. k. cleaning of work site and disposal of scrap generated at central stores scrap yard/designated area by eic. l. all t&ps for this work to be brought by agency. total quantity :
