bids are invited for 1 m & l for carrying out 03 nos soil investigaton of boring 150mm dia at any kind of existing soil strata at different corners with approved means of drilling / refusal strata upto deth10 mtr.one no trial pit at centre size 1.2x 1.2x 3.0 mtr 5mtr away from bore hole centrally placed and find out the safe bearing capacity based on n value strength and settlement criteria through standard penentration test, recommendation for type of foundation as per is 1892-1979 to cover field and laboratory studies 2 mobilization of plants and equipment including men and materials as required at site of soil investigation setting of bore / drilling as required and demolition of plants and equipment on completion of work etc complete ( which includes conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of testing ) 3 shifting of entire arrangement from one bore hole to another bore hole location and setting of boring / drilling as required and as directed by engr-in-charge. 4 collection of disturbed / undisturbed samples from bore holes at every 1 mtr intervals or at any change of strata, including waxing, packing and transporting sample to the lab 5 conducting necessary test on all collected disturbed samples as per is 2720 and detailed result to be given which includes the determination of 6 sieve analysis and grain size distribution by sieve analysis & hydrometer test 7 atterberg limits 8 natural moisture content 9 wet and dry density 10 soil / particle size using sieve hydrometer analysis 11 free soil index 12 bulk density / dry density 13 preparation and submission of detailed site plan showing the approx location of each bore duly numbered, 02 nos report containing all above test results, graphs, charts, calculation, including marking location on site plan alongwith photographic record etc and recommendations. total quantity : 13
