bids are invited for custom bid for services - capstan jobs for navy vessel - anchor capstan - 2.14.1. overhaul and repairs followed by load testing of anchor capstan (qty - 02 nos) in accordance with inbr 1552. 2.14.2 anchor securing stopper, chain stopper and hawse pipe cover are not operating manually. to be repaired in situ. 2.14.3. ferredo brake liners of band brake assembley of both anchor capstan detoirated to be replaced. (qty - 02 nos) 2.14.4. remove the inspection cover of reduction gear, bevel gear and weight wheel, inspect bearings and teeth of wheels and sprockets, rectify defect if any then close the cover. 2.14.5. open and inspect the manual operating wheel of band brake and coupling wheel assembley and undertake overhauling of the same. work entails replacement of defective bearing. 2.14.6. capstan operating key broken/damaged. to be manufactured as per sample. mat: ms, qty: 02 in nos 2.14.7. oil leakage observed from cable drum shaft of both capstan (port & stbd). oil seal required to be replaced/ renewed. 2.14.8. grease cup assembly worn out/perished. renewal of grease cup assembly of port capstan. qty: 05 nos. 2.14.9. calibration of following pressure gauges: - 2.14.9.1 n2 gauge (0-16 mpa) : 02 2.14.9.2 n2 gauge (0-60 mpa) : 01 2.14.9.3 hyd pressure gauge (0-25 mpa) : 06 2.14.9.4 hyd pressure gauge (0-1.6 mpa) : 01 2.14.9.5 hyd pressure gauge (0-150 kpa) : 01 2.14.9.6 hyd pressure gauge (0-16 mpa) : 01 2.14.10.drain entire hydraulic oil from the hydraulic system for carrying out routines on hydraulic system. refill in the system post completion of routines and undertake flushing of hydraulic oil. 2.14.11.hydraulic oil leakage observed from band brake piston assembly. qty 02 2.14.12. undertake overhauling of direction valves, flow control valves and distributive valves of hydraulic system 2.14.13. undertake overhauling of hydraulic pumps and replace defective spares. 2.14.14. oil leakage observed from hydraulic pipelines joints at various locations. oil seals to be renewed in situ. qty: 20 nos. pressure testing of pipelines post repair and renewal. certificate to be provided post pressure test. 2.14.15.replace the hydraulic filters in hydraulic panels and strainer in overhead tank. , mooring capstan - 2.79.1. carry out operational trials and repair any defect/ deficiencies observed. 2.79.2.abnormal noise observed in gear box of both mooring capstans. inspect the gear teeth of gear box of mooring capstan and replace the defective bearings and gears. 2.79.3.oil leakage observed from shaft of both mooring capstan (port & stbd). oil seal and deck glands required to be replaced/ renewed. 2.79.4.drain entire gear oil from reduction gear box to facilitate overhauling of gear box. refiil the same post overhauling of gear box. 2.79.5.dismantle both mooring drums and inspect the shaft assembly, planetry gear and head bearing for any defects. 2.79.6.renew rusted / corroded fastners on foundation brackets and planery gear guard at quarter deck.note :- use pol as specified by manufacturer., ras capstan - 2.43.1 .inspect gear box and roller bearing, renew as necessary. 2.43.2 inspect worm & worm wheel for any wear and tear and misalignment. 2.43.3. dismantle the capstan drums and undertake overhaiuling of gear box assembly. repair/ renew defective spares.
