tender for special repair / replacement of top overhauling for 1010 kva dg set at af station carnicobar.; 1 dismantling of engine assembly for top over hauling of dg set of capacity 1010 kva ( make cummins, model kta-38-gs, engine sl no 25449131 ) complete carefully from foundation after disconnecting and unscrewing of nuts, bolts and washers and alternator without any damage to existing system, top overhauling work by dismantling complete engine, checking, cleaning and investigation of all dismantled part. reassembled the engine with required new spare parts. while assembling, carryout endplay, bearing clearance, bumping clearance, fuel timing, gear train alignment, tappet clearance checks. primed fuel systems, exhaust systems. starting the engine and tested on load condition for good performance. calibration of fuel pump assembly with changing of new required spare parts. transportation charges for fuel pump assembly deemed to be incl in this item . pressure testing and calibration of injector assembly. reconditioning of cylinder head. re-boring of con rod bush complete all as specified & directed. 2 note:- ( i ) rate quoted for this item including all labour charges ( ii ) rate quoted shall deem to including for transportation of engine / engine parts to the authorized workshop of oem from port blair / any city of main landand back if required ( iii ) unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of all charges and expenses such as travelling up to carnicobar, messing of all technician, engrs, person and other manpower as required. 3 note contd..
