carrying out irrigation management work including controlling of canal measurement of area preparation of akarani takta record in rabbi and hot weather season for area under jayakwadi irrigation sub division no 03 tirthapuri , item no1:carrying out the irrigation management activities including initially taking the pani arj from farmers , measurements of irrigation crops under irrigation outlets from survey no . / gut no . / pot hissa and recording on field books supplied by deptt with keeping record of water letout and gauges on registers supplied by department during each rotation and distributing the water assesment bills after rotation in each season including each and every work related to irrigation management as directed by supplying skilled , unskilled personnels including to and fro conveyance and other necessary aminities to staff etc . completed as directed by engineer-in-charge , b ) irrigation through lift , item no . 2:- carrying out the work of preparing akarani takte and draft water assessment bills neatly in the prescribed format with dtp on office computer or by hand written as directed from the field book / gauge register records at end of each season keeping and providing soft copy and then taking entries in the khatawani register by supplying skilled personnels etc . completed as directed by engineer- in- charge . , item no 3 :- carrying out the overall control on the canal / dy / bc / minor / cr gates including watch and ward of canal , cr gates , escapes hr , outlet gates and ensuring safety of canal / gates from overflow , breaching , damages to gates , unauthorised opening , controlling leakages throuh gates , maintaining gauge record / guages , keeping good communication with canal officers in day / night during rotation period over particular network of canal as directed by etc completed engineer in-charge
