supply of bronze components for safety valve of cylinder consists of 3 items for x class locomotives as per annexure. note 1. item no 1 to 3 consists of one set. 2. for equivalent material specifications refer goc / x / spec- x-032 3. if any casting defects are found during the machining of supplied items within the warranty period, those items need to be replaced by the concerned firm within one month. 4. one integral test piece should be provided for one heat batch, it should be parted in presence of railway authority for material testing before machining [ warranty period: 30 months after the date of delivery ]
