outsourcing for essential services for security to logistic installations and outsourcing for conservancy and housekeeping of mes offices under ge ludhiana . , scha , provn of security to logistic installations , mes office complex at ludhiana . the services will include the following:- ( i ) deployment of security personnel for 03 shifts of 8 hours each all as specified for the security service at ge office complex . ( ii ) the contractor / security agency shall provide all the tools , torch , shoes , mobile phone with activated sim , whistles , sticks , umbrellas / rain coats all as specified . ( iii ) the contractor / security agency shall provide standard and similar uniform reqd to be wore by all employed personnel . ( iv ) the contractor / security agency shall provide insurance cover for the staff empolyed by him and the department will not be held responsible for any damages / loss to be the personnel . ( v ) the contractor / security agency shall ensure proper handing / taking over between employed personnel at the time of change of shift . ( vi ) the contractor / security agency shall ensure the police verification carried out for the security personnel depolyed by him . police verification report of the individual should be produced to sub divn . ( vii ) contractor shall adhere to all the rules / regulations of labour act as per conditions to approved by state / central govt . ( viii ) the contractor shall provide weekly off to staff without any extra cost to department . no additional payment shall be made by department for sundays and closed holidays . , all as per item no 1 above but age b / r baddowal 03 shift of 8 hour each , all as per item no 1 above but bso store yard baddowal for 02 shifts of 8 hours each , all as per item no 1 above but vacant buildings taken over by mes under ge ludhiana 02 shifts of 08 hours each and as directed by engr-in-charge . , provision of conservancy service staff ( safaiwala ) = total 04 nos all as directed in concurrent shift of 8 hours ( 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs ) each in office complexes under ge ludhiana . the conservancy services include the following:- ( i ) brooming and mopping the floor using floor cleaner , broom and cloth . freshening the room with room freshner , cabweb cleaning in room using broom with handle in each office complex of ge . ( ii ) cleaning of bathroom and lavatory using phenyl , harpic and napthaline balls , cleaning the table , walls , window glasses , appliances and cleaning the glass using colin , cleaning of roof using broom stick , steel wire brush and removing the dry leaves and dust . cleaning of other materals dumped on roof in each office complex of ge . ( iii ) cleaning debris of road and paths ( manual / mechanically ) upto an average height not exceeding 60 cm and removal outside the mod land , cleaning of roads using broom stick and disposing all the garbage to the garbage bin . cleaning of open area on road side drain and surface drain of all slit debris and foreign material blockage etc to ensure smooth flow of storm / rain water in each office complex of ge . note ( i ) the contractor shall adhere to all the rules / regulations of labour act as per condition approved by the state / central govt ( ii ) the contractor shall provide brooms , cloth / duster , wiper including all consumable items viz soap , harpic , phenyl , naphthaline balls , turpentine oil , etc . ( iii ) the contractor shall provide standard and similar uniform reqd to be wore by the attendants . contractor shall provide weekly off to staff without any extra cost to department . no additional payment shall be made by department for sundays and closed holidays .
