improvement to water supply infrastructure at af stn agra, to carry out the test to ascertain soil profiles and lab / proportion to determine with field and lab investigation to relevan specifications of is 2131 , is 6403 , is 1498 & is 2720 . , conducting soil investigation for following:- ( a ) 150mm diameter bore holes as per is specification to be made for conduct of various tests including standard penetration test ( spt ) . ( b ) bore hole ( as marked in site plan ) ( i ) soil investigation for 10m depth =8 nos ( ii ) soil investigation for 20m depth =3 nos ( iii ) k value for at depth of 2 . 00m to 2 . 50m = 04 nos ( c ) depth of bore hole =10m & 20 m ( d ) collection of disturbed and undisturbed soil sample at an interval of 1 . 00 mtr or at change of strata or as per relevant is code . ( e ) conducting lab test on disturbed soil samples as considered necessary according to relevant specifications of is 2720 :- ( i ) sieve analysis & grain size distribution by sieve analysis & hydrometer test . ( ii ) atterberg limits ( iii ) natural moisture content ( iv ) particle size analysis test ( v ) bulk density / dry density , ( f ) conducting lab test on undisturbed soil sample as considered necessary according to relevant specification of is 2720 and detailed result showing all relevant calculations , inferences , indices and parameters shall be given in the soil report ( i ) natural moisture content ( ii ) bulk density ( iii ) specific gravity ( iv ) free swell index and swelling properties of soil ( v ) organic matter in soil if any ( vi ) consolidation test ( compressed index value ) ( vii ) triaxial compression test and determination of shear parameters ( c & o test ) as per relevant is . ( viii ) harmful salt ( complete investigation as already ref ) ( g ) ground water table :- ( i ) maximum and minimum levels of ground water in the area with source of information .
