providing of services for operation and maintenance of water supply installations at afmc area old nda wing asi and aipt area under ge central pune , providing services for operation and maintenance of the under mentioned water supply installations consisting afmc pump house combine with dg sets , asi pumb house combined with asi swimming pool , filtration plant etc and old nda main pump house and dg sets in three shifts employing well experienced tradesmen fgm in each shift of 08 hours including holidays and sundays for the following installations/ equipments etc complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge :- ( i ) three fgm in three shifts ( i . e . 01 fgm in afmc pump house , 01 fgm in old nda wing pump house and 01 fgm in asi pump house combined with swimming pool for three shifts and dg sets ) as under :- - 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs : first shift - 1400hrs to 2200 hrs : second shift , ( a ) afmc swimming pool and filtration plant in two shifts complete all as specified and directed . , ( b ) aipt swimming pool and filtration plant in two shifts complete all as specified and directed . , notes for the item no 1 & 2 :- , ( i ) rates quoted by the tenderer for the above items shall deemed to be inclusive of cost required for general cleaning of sorrounding area of the installation complete . , ( ii ) protective clothing as per is and safety instructions are to be provided by the contractor and will be continuously in use of the fgm / electrician on duty . no extra payment shall be made to the contractor for the same . , ( iii ) log sheet shall be maintained by the contractor properly as per the format approved by engineer-in-charge and the same shall be handed over to engineer-in-charge on completion of contract period . , ( iv ) day to day maintenance shall be carried out by the contractor . materials other than grease , glands shall be supplied by the department . , ( vi ) operation of swimming pool suction sweeper alongwith pump for sweeping of pool bed & diving bed shall be carried out by the operator without any extra charge as requied to maintain cleanliness and visibility of the pool as per direction of the engr-in-charge and as per pool maintenance sop . , ( vii ) wiping/ cleaning of vertical walls of swimming pool and diving pool completely shall be carried out by the operator using suitable brush without any extra cost as directed by engr-in-charge . , ( viii ) cleaning of overflow drains regularly and chlorinate the drains with chlorine solution at least once in a day . , ( ix ) dozing of chemical as required in swimming pools and pump house to maintain adequate/ residual dozes of chemicals all as per the direction of engr-in-charge/ mes rep . , ( x ) keeping installation neat and clean and in presentable condition always . , ( xi ) opetation and maintenance of filtration plant and allied accessories to be carried out . , ( xii ) the contractor shall employ adequate tradesmen for weekly off , holiday and leave replacement and the cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate and no additional amount will be paid in this respect . , ( vi ) all stationary items such as daily log sheet , attendance register , complaint register for complaint cell shall be supplied by the contractor without any extra cost .
