outsourcing of services for water supply installations maintenance and operation and certain misc works of phaseii under gei rd east bangalore , providing services for operation of water supply system at e type incl installations and maintenance of fire fighting pump house operation of pumps of any capacity in phase -ii tech park area to fill up water in over head tanks/under ground sumps and operating of dg sets - 02 nos , regulating the valves of any size of water supply distribution as under , all as directed by engineer-in-charge . , operating staff to be employed as under :- ( i ) mpa - 01 no for each shifts ( total two shifts ) ( ii ) helper - 01 no for each shifts ( total two shifts ) shift timing :-0600hrs to 1400hrs ( general shift ) 1400hrs to 2200hrs ( for one helper ) , operation and maintenance of water supply system for main pump house and c type pump house , chlorination of water by chloronome plant and maintain at drdo phase-ii area to fill up ug sumps , regulating valves up to 250mm dia for water distribution system including sundays and general holidays in three shifts of 8 hours in each shift all as specified and directed as under :- , operating staff to be employed as under :- ( i ) mpa - 01 no for each shift ( total 03 shifts ) ( ii ) helper - 01 no each for two shifts shift timing :-0900hrs to 1700hrs ( 1st shift ) 1700hrs tto 0100hrs ( 2nd shift ) 0100hrs to 0900hrs ( 3rd shift ) , nature of duty for item no . 1 to 2 ( a ) nature of work to be carried out are as under and maintenance of fire fighting pump house operating of pumps any capacity :- ( i ) attending of all day to day water supply compliants . ( iii ) operating of pumps sets of any capacity for pumping of water from ug sump to over head tank or directly to building service tanks for two times per day . ( iii ) operating of submersible pump set of any capacity for pumping of water from bore wells to the sump as ordered , ( iv ) cleaning of valve chamber , controlling of sluice valves , maintaining of valves including replacement of gland packing , maintenance of pump sets , greasing and arresting of leakages etc and keping in good condition . ( v ) filling water in the sumps from the main supply line . ( vi ) in addition to above cleaning the surrounding of sump/over head tank/pump houses , upkeep of records and precaution boards in the installations . ( vii ) operation/maintenance of dg sets control panel/bateries and pump sets . , providing services for operation of dg sets at zone b and main sub station and rtc 200kva dg set at zone a including its dg sets and lt/ht sub station equipments at tech park residential area ( phase-ii ) one dg operator including sunday and general holidays all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge :- ( i ) zone a -01 operator for 01 shift timng :- 0900h to 1700h ( ii ) zone b - 01 in each shift ( total 03 shifts ) timing :-0600h to 1400h1400h to 2200h 2200h to 0600h , ( a ) nature of duty :- ( i ) receiving all e/m complaints at complaint cells . ( ii ) maintaining of log books for sub station and dg sets ( iii ) operation of ht/lt panel boards in sub station ( iv ) opeation and maintenance of dg sets complete , control panel , batteries , incase of power failure for lifts/security lights/pump house all as directed by engineer-in-charge . ( v ) maintenance of capacitor panle for power factor improvement and maintaining it above 0 . 9 , failing which penalty imposed by bescom on account of low power factor would be recovered from contractor . ( vi ) maintenance of earth pit in sub station only including testing , maintaining of record .
