( b ) after ensuring the vcb is in isolated position , inspection of entire breaker mech parts like , breaker on off operations , mech gear drive assy , closing & tripping mechanisms , spring charging indications , on-off mechanical indications , condition of main closing & tripping spring assy , allied hardwares & its tightness and alignments . ( c ) inspection of electrical parts - motor assy , aux block operations , tripping & closing coil operations , main male-female contacts , insulating material , insulating oil healthiness , etc . ( d ) checking operation of relays . ( e ) checking and recording of ir value of vcb trolley and panel . ( f ) checking/repairing/rectification of the control wiring . . ( g ) checking & updating all mech + electrical critical settings of vcb like closing & tripping & trouble free operations . , ( h ) checking vcb manual on-off operations by local closing & tripping push assy . ( j ) checking vcb electrical on-off operations by applying control supply source . vcb should switch on & off by breaker on-off control switch which in installed on control panel . vcb tripping operations to be checked using protection relay units like lsig realy + master trip realy units + other tripping units installed in the breaker . ( k ) ensuring if vcb is in trip position , it should not re-close again , even when closing command is applied . ( l ) ensuring vcbs positive & trouble free performance in service position by switching on the plant load . ( m ) checking fibre plates , gaskets , , applying properly make grease or equivalent one using help of grease gun to vcb cradle , racking in-out assy , mech rubbing parts + bushing assy & dry graphite conductive sealant to contacts of pt etc . & re-assembling the same and commissioning complete to the entire satisfaction of engr-in-chrg . incld . testing of polarities of cts . ( n ) high voltage testing with high voltage tester of ct & breaker pole to with stand working pressure of ht 12 kv to ascertain servicieability and spare parts found defective to be replaced for smooth functioning as directed by engr-in-chrg . ( o ) labour only for opening the busbar chamber of ht board cleaning the bus bar chamber , cleaning of entire dust in side the control panel + vcb by using dry air pressure , inspect the cts wiring , spout insulator & bus-bar joints & tightening if required & heating up with hot air blower to remove moisture , meggering , hv testing applying trtppex ( b ) . , overhauling , testing , calibrating and commissioning of numerical relay/electro-mechanical relay - 1 uv/ov relay + 1 earth fault/o/c + 1 master trip relay by secondary injection on each multiple settings of relays by injecting artificial load to ascertain correctness completely including primary injection through cts by injecting artificial load on each multiple setting of relay to check correctness as well setting the relay at the settings which is inco-ordination with the pspdcl sub-station ( source ) and as per the further downstream distribution of hv breakers complete all as specified and directed , supply and replace existing u/s digital voltmeter range each -01 , supply and replace existing u/s digital selector switch for ammeter each -01 , supply and replace exgisting segnment gear wheel set - each set -01
