cano ge ( p ) wd-01/2020-21 provn of soil testing for sailors md accn at nariana bagh and chanakya bagh , under ge ( p ) west , delhi cantt . , ( a ) making necessary arrangement for mobilisation and demobilization of equipments , tools and plants required for soil investigation and their removal after completion of work . ( b ) boring 100mm dia bore holes through any type of soil , which ever is encountered at site . ( c ) carry out stardard penetration test ( spt ) including collecting of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1 . 5m depth or any change of strata , which ever is earlier upto a depth of 15m and submit soil investigation report reflecting net , gross , allowable , safe bearing capacity of soil for various type and size of foundation at various depth . the report shall include all requisite data . ( d ) conducting necessary tests on all collected samples which includes in minimum the determination of the following :- ( i ) atternberg limits . ( ii ) natural moisture contents . ( iii ) wet and dry density . ( iv ) soil/particle size using sieve/hydometer analysis . ( e ) recording water level . ( f ) report consisting of borelog properties of the rock of each strata , suggesting the depth of the foundation and bearing capacity of soil and technical discussion as required . , all as per srl item no:1 here-in before but boring in soft rock . , all as per srl item no:1 here-in before but boring in hard rock .
