tender for soil investigation :-job work is required to be carried out for tender for soil investigation of provn of sewage treatment plant for otm accn aundh mil camp , kirkee . 1 . drilling 100 mm dia holes in any type of soil and 75 mm dia ( nx size ) in rock upto 10 m depth respectively , collecting disturbed soil samples / rock cores from different locations for carrying out relevent laboratory test as directed by engineer -in- charge including mobilization of drilling rig & manpower incl of under mentioned tests :- ( a ) conducting density test of soil ( lab tests ) . ( b ) collecting undisturbed soil samples . ( c ) water absortion test ( lab test ) . ( d ) soaked crushing strength test on rock . ( e ) atterbergs limit on soil . ( f ) conducting standard penetration test ( spt ) . ( g ) specific gravity ( h ) chemical analysis of soil / water . ( j ) porosity of rock . ( k ) recommended sbc should be given for all bore holes . ( l ) photographic record of geo-exploration as well as testing shall also form part of the report . ( m ) recommendation as regards possibility of liquifaction of soil in case of saturated or partially saturated loose / uncompacted sandy soils . ( n ) depth of ground water table .
