( make amaron quanta or equivalent similar superior make as per approved list of bsnl c . o . new delhi ) , 12 volt 26 ah smf vrla battery for ups ( m / s amaron quanta 12al026 or equivalent of approved make ) ( note: model of battery should be selected , such that which offers to provide at least 24 months warrantee . ) , installation , testing & commissioning of above 40 nos . 12 volt 150ah capacity sealed maintenance free vrla battery vrla on existing battery racks covered under item no . 1 of supply portion for existing 40 kva ups , 240v system } with initial charge , inter connections etc . complete as required at site as per directions of engineer incharge . , installation , testing & commissioning of above 20 nos . 12 volt 26ah capacity sealed maintenance free vrla battery in 5 kva ups with initial charge , inter connections etc . complete as required at site as per directions of engineer incharge . , note : ( 1 ) testing of the batteries shall be done at site with reference to back-up and ah capacity of batteries after every three months as per instructions of eic up to 24 months warranty period . , ( 2 ) artificial d . c . load for testing of the batteries ( corresponding to +240v dc & -240v dc input to the existing 40 kva ups system ) , ( corresponding to 240v dc input to the existing 5 kva ups system ) all t&p , measuring instrument and associated item ( s ) i . e . cable etc . shall be arranged by the vendor . the security deposite shall be refundable only after sucessful of final backup test . ( after 2 years warranty period ) . if agency fails to carry out thescheduled backup test in every 3 months , then the work shall be carried out at risk & cost of the firm . , ( 3 ) the existing old batteries are to be dismantled and handed over to the rmcdc authorities in presence of bsnl officers in a systematic manner without any damage to batteries itself or the adjoining equipments there to .
