supply of safety items-1 goggles, as per dgms circular no.dgms / mse / circular ( approval ) no.01, dated 2.04.2014 shall confirm is 5983:1980. transparent goggles for use in surface ( plain / white ) for eye protection working in lathe machine, drilling machine and chp etc. 2 ear plug, as per dgms circular no.dgms / mse / circular ( approval ) no.01, dated 2.04.2014 shall confirm is 9167:1979 & is6229:1980. 3 first aid box, as per coal mines rules 1955, rule 44 ( 1 ) , first aid box shall contain – ( a ) a sufficient supply of large and small sterilized dressing and burn dressing. ( b ) a sufficient supply of sterilized cotton wool and of adhesive plaster. ( c ) a supply of tincture of iodine or other antiseptic solution. ( d ) a supply of roller bandages. ( e ) a tourniquet scissors and safety pins. ( f ) a piece of carbolic soap. 4 first aid kit, as per coal mines rules 1955, first aid kit shall contain – ( a ) one large sterilized dressing ( b ) one small sterilized dressing ( c ) one ampoule of tincture of iodine or other suitable antiseptic solution.
