tender for mechanized and manual sweeping and cleaning of the biswa bangla sarani including service road- left side-up and down- from box bridge to vip road crossing -haldirams- at new town kolkata under nkda- 6077 / nkda / engg-36 / 2010 -x , mechanical street sweeping by engaging large sized mechanised street sweeping machine of 6000 litre capacity as per specifications aided by manual cleaning wherever required for roads / streets within the project area of new town including arterial & sub-arterial roads alongwith road side kerb cleaning , water sprinkling , uprooting unwanted weeds from the road side , cleaning gully gratings , drain covers etc . including transportation and disposal of such waste materials at specified locations or any other work to be undertaken as envisaged in the tender documents & as per direction of e-i-c . , mechanical street sweeping by engaging small sized mechanised street sweeping machine of 500 litres capacity as per specification aided by manual cleaning of streeet within the township of new town for service roads of mar , bye lanes of the rotaries , road side kerbs and pathways of eco-park , internal roads whenever required including uprooting unwanted weeds from road side , cleaning gully gratings , footpaths etc . including transportation and disposal of such waste materials at specified locations or any others work as envisaged in the tender documents & as per direction of e-i-c , shifting / lifting of all kinds of materials obstructing the road for sweeping works including garbage , slushy earth , broken construction materials and demolition waste mixed with earth etc . from the side of road deploying j . c . b & dumpers alongwith requisite number of labourers and transportation of the waste upto a distance of 16 km over kattcha or pucea road and disposal of the same to the specified low lying areas or any designated dumping ground , as per direction of the engineer - in - charge . ( considering 8hrs of operation per day ) , daily sweeping & cleaning of bituminous / metalled road surface at different locations of new town along the biswa bangla sarani by engaging atleast 10 nos . of labourers in each gang for sweeping , cleaning and removal of dust , littered waste mixed with rubbish and other filthy materials as well as leaves / plastic etc . , cleaning the kerb-channel , plastic bags , waste paper , brick pieces and boulder or any other foreign materials if any from the road surface also scavenging form the adjacent plots wherever required and from the central and side median of the road if required and as directed by the eic , including loading , unloading the sweeped materials by means of matador / dumper atleast one number with each gang and disposal of the same at specified locaions . . all possible precautions are to be taken to ensure safety of the labourersduring operation as per direction of the engineer-in-charge . enggament of 6 nos . gang for the mar - iiii with service road and each gang has to cover minimum 1 . 5 km of road lenght both side per day .
