providing tank wagon handling services at barauni terminal . , part-a , assistance in loading & unloading of tank wagon of all types/products . assisting officials in initial inspection of leak tightness of flanges , man hole opening . assistance in collecting sample/oil-water dip and opening required no . of wagons as advised by the officer-in-charge . after unloading , checking complete draining of remaining oil safely into the header using bucket & bonding arrangements . ( minimum 4 persons to be engaged per shift ) the rate is lump sum and is irrespective of no . hours taken for unloading due to any ullage constraint and late placement of wagons etc . , after placement of the empty rake in the tw gantry , positioning of the gantry ladder on the tws , removal of previous seals and attached wire if any , opening of the manhole cover of the tws , assisting in checking of emptiness of tws . after loading of tws , assistance to be rendered for qc checks & sample collection , bringing the samples from loading gantry to the tw office , storing retention samples as per direction of officer in charge . , after loading of the tw , placing of rubber gaskets in the fill pipe groove , closing of fill pipe flange with screw , closing of dip hole with stopper ensuring manhole covers air tightness , closing & placing of manhole covers with rubber gasket/ o ring suitably with all fitted studs as per tw fittings , checking and fixing of bottom flanges in case of any leakage / as per instruction of section in charge & removal of gantry swing ladder . pasting of paste on the label on each tw as per direction of the section in charge , carrying letters , challans , office memos , banking & other documents in between barauni terminal to railway section , local railway goods office , om&s , other refinery sections / other sections of the terminal , banks as per the instruction of respective in charges as and when required . shifting of non metallic seals , gaskets , o rings / other safety fittings , stationeries in between barauni marketing terminal to tw section , ttl sections & other section of the office as and when required . conveyance has to be arranged by the contractor . reliever to workmen in round the clock shifts . all duties of reliever to be performed same as that of normal work schedule . , one semi skilled supervisor for supervision in tank wagon under this contract , part-b , in case of simultaneous unloading along with loading of rakes , 2 additional manpower for each rakes to be arranged , that would be paid on overtime . manpower may be arranged from other shift or other than regular manpower . all payments to be done on actual number of such unloading tank wagon . jobs include all jobs of normal rake unloading jobs . the rate is lump sum and is irrespective of no . of hours taken for unloading due to any ullage constraint and late placement of wagons etc .
