periodical maintenance including changes of gear box, pully and motor for curtain of calcutta university institute hall including other allied works, 7 bankim chatterjee street, kolkata 700073, during the financial year 2025-2026.- stripping off worn out plaster and raking out joints of walls, celings etc. upto any height and in any floor including removing rubbish within a lead of 75m as directed. 2 plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (ground floor).[excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface](ii) with 1:4 cement mortar(a) 20 mm thick plaster 3 (a) applying 2 coats of bonding agent with synthetic multi functional rubber emulsion having adhesive and water proofing properties by mixing with waterin proportion (1 bonding agent : 4 water : 6 cement) as per manufacturers specification [cement to be supplied by the department] 4 removing old scales, blisters etc. of interior surface of walls,ceiling by scraping etc. and preparing smooth and even surface with rendering or cement mortar (1:2) (as necessary), to make the surface suitable for receiving distemper. (payment against this item will be made only when this has been done on the specific direction of the engineer-in-charge). 5 rendering the surface of walls and ceiling with white cement base water proof wall putty of approved make & brand.(1.5 mm thick) 6 applying interior grade acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive distemper/ acrylic emulsion paint including scraping and preparingthe surface throughly, complete as per manufacturers specification and as per direction of the eic. (in ground floor)(a) one coati) water based interior grade acrylic primer 7 applying acrylic emulsion paint of approved make and brand on walls and ceiling including sand papering in intermediate coats including putty(to be done under specific instruction of superintending engineer) :(two coats)i) standard quality 8 rough dressed timber planks fitted and fixed with nut bolts excluding framework complete :in ground floor(ii) 35mm thick planks(b) sal local 9 (b) priming one coat on timber or plastered surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc. 10 (a) painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary :(a) on timber or plastered surface :with other than hi-gloss of approved quality-(iv) two coats (with any shade except white) 11 removing loose scales, blisters etc. from old painted surface and thoroughly smoothening the surface to make the same suitable for receiving fresh coat of paint. 12 patch repairing of the auditorium chair at any parts minor as required with new cloth, velvet/rexin h.d. foams ply of existing thickness including fitting, fixing the chair in existing portion with all new/old screws complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge. 13 taking out only seat of auditorium chair & repairing the same by using new cloth, h.d. foams (50 mm./12 mm. in two layer), spring & bottom seat with 12 mm. thik ply wood (green ply/national/kil ply) as required and fitting, fixing the same with exting steel/wooden frame & handel and covering the entire seat with super quality velvet cloth/rexin as approved including fitting & fixing the same in existing portion with all incidental charges complete as per direction & satisfaction of engineer-in-charge. 14 taking out only back rest auditorium chair & repairing the same by using new cloth, h.d. foams (50 mm./12 mm.in two layer), spring & bottom seat with 12 mm. thick ply wood (green ply/national/kit ply) as required and fitting, fixing the same with existing steel/wooden frame & handel and covering the entire seat with super quality velvet cloth/rexin as approved including fitting & fixing the same in existing position with all incidental charges complete as per direction & satisfaction of engineer-in-charge. 15 through repairing of gear box with warm wheel for the wings and replacing the defective parts including adjusting the wings in standard & testing the same as per direction of engineer-in-charge. 16 renewing pully with new nuts & bolts complete including scaffolding complete as per direction of engineet-in-charge.
