tender for term contract for artificer / day to day maintenance works at sector b (compirising inf bn no 1, ad regt, dogra lines, mh 263 fd works shop etc ) and surrounding areas at inf lines jamnagar , to perform under term contract such services and execute such works as required at site, upon the terms and conditions contained or referred to in the mes standard schedule of rates 2009 part-i- specification and mes standard schedule of rates 2020 part ii, rates together with errata/amendments as applicable and upon the conditions contained in tender documents, as may be demanded, and as are anumerated in the aforesaid standard schedule of rates at the rates contained in the aforesaid mes standard schedule of rates part ii subject to percentage in excess or less quoted by the contractor above. or at such other net rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 of general conditions of contracts (iafw-2249)1989 print with errata/amendments as applicable. , note :(i) tenderer shall select/choose the specific option excess (+) or less (-) available at the 4th row indicating bidders name under respective column e as desired by him and quote his boq excel sheet to quote the percentage above/below mes standard schedule of rates. tenderer shall insert his derived percentage above or below ssr part ii rates in the 4th row indicating bidder name under respective column f of this boq excel sheet. (ii) the figure (amount) inserted by the mes under column prescribed for estimated rate shall be deemed at par with ssr and the amount reflected in subsequent column of boq is a tentative gross amount for rough guidence and for reference only. similiarly, the quoted amount worked out (based on percentage rate quoted by contractor) shall also be treated for net gross amount for rough and for reference only. the acceptance of contractors offer shall be done for quoted percentage rate by the contractor in the respective columns above. the work orders for various works/services shall be placed/ordered for amount worked out/priced on the rates contained in mes standard schedule of rates part ii subject to percentage rate quoted by contractor in respective columns above. (iv) contractors special attention is invited to condition 4 (a) works to be carried out (applicable only to term contractors) and condition 56 termination of contract (applicable only to term contracts) of general conditions of contracts (iafw-2249). the provision of these conditions of general conditions of contracts (iafw-2249) shall be strictly followed. (v) it is an express condition of this contract that the amount of total works/services required to be done under this contract may vary to any extant irrespective of the amount mentioned and worked out subject to quoted percentage rate in this boq sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works/services as ordered during currancy of the contract at the rates contained in mes standard schedule of rates 2020 part ii subject to quoted percentage rate mentioned above during contract period. no claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum/scope of work ordered and executed or to be done/work done.
