tender for water bound macadam-(g-3) - providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density. excluding gst. , repair to pot holes and removal of loose material, trimming of sides, cleaning of surface by providing tack coat, 20 mm thick pre-mix carpet premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates with vg-10 bitumen compelet specification clause 1904.2 (excluding gst.) schedule - c the materials shall be issued to the contractor as following:- s. no. name of material unit rate of bitumen p/mt at which place of issue deduction shall be made (rate in rs.) 1 bitumen vg-10 mt 54600.00 p.d., p.w.d. store at mainpuri conditions:- 1- there shall have no claim of contractor, if the material is not issued by the department due to non-availability in store or any other reason. 2- the unconsumed material issued in excess of bonafide consumption norms, shall have to be returned back to the store as mentioned above, failing which a recovery at the punitive rate, i.e., double the issue rate shall be made from the contractors bill. 3- contractor have to return empty bitumen drums/emulsion drums immediately, failing which a recovery at the punitive rate i.e., rs. 3000 per drum shall be recovered from the contractors bill. 4- the departmental road roller if spare, shall be made available to the contractor at site @ rs. 2500 per day including pol charges, wages of driver and cleaner. if roller is kept idle due to non-availability of material or labour, recovery @ rs. 2500 per day shall be made from contractors bill for idle period.
