bids are invited for repair and overhauling service - diesel generators- dg sets; defect rectification onboard icgs c-439; no; buyer premises, service provider premises-bilge and gs pump (make: m/s spx pump, model: kgeen 15.6, cap: 25m3/hr) is not taking suction and tripping abruptly. it is suspected that motor (5.5 kw, 7.5 hp) winding is shot and impeller corroded. complete overhauling of pump and motor and proved for satisfactory operation. e-097 fabrication of base of ac condenser pump no. 1 & 2. fitment of ac condenser pump 1 & 2 to be carried out. post fitment same to be proved for satisfactory operation. e-098 sea water pump of port da is not taking suction. sea water pump to be overhauled and proved for satisfactory operation. h-197 05 nos. stanchions broken and uprooted from base at foxle and q / deck during sortie. same is required to be renewed/ welded as per sample (mat: aluminium) h-198 waterjet guar hatch hinges broken and risk of damaging waterjet, 06 hinges to be renewed and welded in waterjet guard. all inway jobs included: (a) removal of broken hinges (b) aluminium welding of new hinges and proved. h-199 01 in no. ventilation flap at quarter deck uprooted. mat: al. flap and associated fitting to be realigned, refixed and restored to full securing arrangement. h-200 magazine locker grating, shelf deteriorated. to be renewed as per sample. components to be renewed/ fabricated as per specification. h-201 01 in no. captain chair foam protection, stitching and base metal to be repaired. foam padding to be repaired, upholstery, restitched, base metal rectification (treatment for corrosion protection) h-202 05 in nos. mess locker door hinges uprooted due to fastener failure and wear along with malfunctioning locking mechanism. hinges to be renewed, locking mechanism to be repaired/ replaced as per sample and doors realigned for securing. l-065 cooking range hot plate no.2 is not getting heated and flash appears from the selector switch on charging over the mode. suspected defective insulation of heating element and short circuited cable. defect to be rectified and system to be proved for satisfactory operation. l-074 motor of ac condenser pump no.1 is showing low insulation and mpcb (motor protection circuit breaker) trips instantly as switches on. defect to be rectified and system to be proved for satisfactory operation. (in way job includes removal and fitment of the motor and balancing of motor- pump assembly) l-075 05 nos. wall mounted fan and 09 nos. switches and sockets has deteriorated at various locations on board ships. same to be repaired/ replaced as per sample. l-077 flood lights (04 nos.) fitted at bridge top and fly bridge are not working. further, spark appears from the contractor on switching on the power supply. suspected short circuit of the wiring. defect to be rectified and system to be proved for satisfactory operation. l-078 port ventilation motor of main engine room draws high current and trips intermittently. suspected winding short circuited. defect to be rectified and system to be proved for satisfactory operation.
