repair/rewinding of unservicebale/faulty transformer of capacity 160 kva of sm no 180809 at sangrur mil station . , repair/rewinding to 160 kva transformer including the following repair/replacement of items/spare parts:- ( a ) taking down unsv transformer from site transporting to wksp for repairing . ( b ) opening up of top cover and lift up of core for inspection o defects in the presence of engr-in-charge . ( c ) draining up of tranformer oil . ( d ) taking down and replacement of winding of hv side 3 limb complete with same gauge of copper new winding wire of weight 60 kgs and fixing coil in limb . ( e ) baking of core in furnuss . ( f ) lowering the core inside the tank and filling 280 ltrs transformer oil of specific gravity 0 . 89 g/cm2 max and dielectric stregth not less than 60 kv . ( g ) replacement of lt side bushing 03 nos with suitable packing materials ( leak proof ) complete . ( h ) fixing of top cover and tap changer connection with silica jel complete . ( j ) testing of transformer in wksp before dispatching to site complete . ( k ) transportationof transformer back to mes site testing and commissioning complete .
