procurement of stainless-steel water container trolley mounted on four-wheeler of capacity of 3 kl of idgah water emergency under ee ( m ) -22. , procurement of stainless steel water container: , tank: the tank should be elliptical shaped in construction and shall be fabricated out of 3 mm thick stainless-steel sheet ( grade 304 ) the dish ends at the front and the rear shall be fabricated with 3 mm thick stainless-steel sheet ( grade 304 ) . the tank will be provided with one baffle plates made of stainless-steel sheet of 3 mm thick inside the tank the baffles & the tank shall be suitably strengthened by tig welding the tank shall be leak proof with welding properly ground to give smooth finish all over and then it will be tested to detect any leakage in the welding. manhole: two manholes shall be of 450 mm diameter having hinged cover the cover shall be made of 3 mm thick stainless-steel sheet ( grade 304 ) . walkway: suitable walkway 15 wide shall be provided one side & fixed all along the length of the container with aluminium chequered plate of 1.2 mm thickness and ladder at the back of the tanker ladder made out 40x40x5mm stainless steel angle with support of 25mm ss pipe of 304 ( g ) . base foundation: the base foundation over which the container will rest shall be fabricated of ms channel of size 100x50mm and it will be fitted with base foundation with necessary ms brackets and sturdy u bolts, and nuts at 3 places. the brackets and “u” bolts, etc. shall be got approved before the work is carried out. mud guards: the mud guards shall be fabricated out of 16 gauge ss sheet and which will be fixed with the angle iron supports of size 40x40x5mm. tension spring ( kamani ) : the required number of laminated springs of suitable length and arrangement shall be provided of standard make the section of each flat spring will be 70mmx10mm and capable of taking full load of tanker filled with water. axle: axle should be provided and fabricated of high-tension ms square bar of size 65mmx65mm tested for the load of tanker filled with water when it is in motion. hubs: hubs of standard make to suit the rims of tyre size 7.50 x 16 shall be provided and fixed on the axle with locking arrangement and the bearings shall be of skf make only. tyres & tubes: the tyres and tubes shall be of size 7.50 x 16. it should be modi, ceat or mrf etc. make the rims should be of standard make suitable for 7.50x16 tyres. drawer: drawer shall be fabricated out of ms channel 70x40x6mm and shall be fitted with lock of ms rod of 40mm dia. with heavy spring door lock etc. as per standard design and drawings. painting: the tank should be buffing with dull shine from outside an inside of tank and chassis shall be painted with enamel of approved quality and make.
